Before Ron finished his bachelors degree in tax accounting at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, he had created his business in his mind. He was graduated Dec 15, 1978 and January of 1979 he opened his first office.
Ron believed then and now that Believing starts the Achieving process. But taking action to accomplish any formidable dreams is the only way to start that process.
Success didn’t completely find Ron in the first two or three years, but as experience and customer relations grew, he found his niche market and continues with that till now.
He focuses on small to medium sized entrepreneurs and has helped many, due to his earlier training in sales and marketing. Ron always says that a great marketer and sales person is always needs even if you are an accountant. Ron was moderately successful in South Florida prior to becoming a tax accountant. He began creating his future business while onboard the CASA Grande LSD (landing Ship Doc) naval vessel, in 1966-1968.
While aboard Ship,. he began asking questions in a way that he tell others, evokes answers to come forth. He has done that, virtually all of his life. He knew he would do something in math or science or a combination of the two, he chose accounting when he got his answer.
The thought that come to him was, “when business is good entrepreneurs needed a good accountant and when business is not so good, there is more need of a great accountant.
That has been his way to success, understanding human nature and the art of customer relations along with his dedication to doing the “Right Thing for His Clients and Himself.”
Another novelty about Ron is that when in a networking meeting in 2010 he was The Spiritual Accountant. Ron was explaining how he did his work and mentioned that he meditated on what was best for his client and then he would proceed with working. As of this writing, no client has received a notice of a tax audit pending from The IRS. Doing the right thing in business and life is Ron’s main daily focus.
Now, that is an unusual combination for a left brain thinking Tax Accountant and right brain meditator. He began his studies of Meditation when faced with a non-serious health challenge. He was told there was no cure for this challenge, although his doctor said if you change your diet, study and practice yoga and or meditation you can beat this stress related challenge.
Now, today, many years from that 1982 challenge Ron has been able to reverse the aging process and get though Covid-19 with out any challenges even when others in his home had Covid. His immune system was way above average for someone, then in his mid-70s.
Ron is now semi-retired from Tax Accounting but has many of his long time clients, from 1981 and a hand full of new clients, that he is preparing to service until his eye, mind and health remain great. All of his clients now come to him via referrals and he has an attitude of helping clients who grow beyond his abilities, to find the right match for their new needs. Giving is the first part of attracting new clients and Ron had no problem in keeping more than he had the previous year. Growth seems to be not stoping for this Spiritual Accountant.
Ron, truly loves his profession of tax accountancy and will do all the necessary research to make sure he uses the current tax laws and regulations to maximize his clients refunds and or to minimize and taxes that are due to The Internal Revenue Service.
Communication is the key to being a successful tax accountant and Ron excels in listening to his clients and answering question that are easy to understand and dose not use technical terminology that many accountants prefer to use. If his clients fully understand, then there are less challenges created between his clients and Ron.
